CPD for UK GP locums · Built by a locum GP
Capture learning while it's fresh
Useful learning can come from a session, a course, an article or a conversation. Locum Notes gives you a quick way to capture it, check the result and keep your own reflection in one CPD log.
Free to use · 60 days full access, then 5 bookings + 5 CPD entries/month, including AI · All features included · Optional Pro £4.99/month · No card needed. The example uses fictional learning notes.
Your calendar gives learning its context
A useful learning point often starts during a locum session or training course. Keeping CPD alongside your calendar makes it easier to connect what you learned with the activity that prompted it, rather than trying to reconstruct the day later.
Click a calendar date and choose CPD, or add a CPD record and link it to a session or other activity on that day. The link is stored in your CPD log. For example, after a morning clinic, capture a learning note and link it to that session; after a course, link your learning to the course activity instead.
A booking does not automatically become CPD or generate learning hours. You choose the activity, check the content and record the learning yourself. Keep patient-identifying information out of your notes.
Start in the way that suits the moment
Write a note
Jot down a useful learning point after a clinic, course or conversation.
Save a link
Start a draft from a clinical article or guidance page you have read.
Speak your thoughts
Record or upload a short voice note and check the transcription.
Add an image
Extract text from a course handout or other learning material, then check it.
Save a page while you read
The optional Chrome extension saves a learning page you choose to your CPD log and suggests a summary for you to review. You can also choose to import recent browsing history; it never records your browsing automatically. Connect it with a private token from Locum Notes Settings, and avoid pages with patient-identifying details.
